Death The Sound Of Perseverance

The review is very heartfelt, but it may lack objectivity in judging the work, given that you venerate it, but who cares.

In the eleventh line I wrote "Splinder," a Freudian slip, sorry, of course it's "Splinter."

I was wondering if I had been banned from DeB since I could no longer see my comments... obviously the 25th and the 28th should be read after the 31st and they say the same thing even if in different terms (because I had to rewrite them from scratch...) I apologize for the mess but it wasn't my fault. Bye!

I forgot to turn off the new comment notification and I'm still awake, so I'm contradicting myself and replying to you, also because I care about you. So, I don’t think that Homme and Oliveri were that marginal in Kyuss. Anyway, even if they were, I'm surprised that two ex-members of a band like Kyuss have turned towards these sounds. My comment and my comparison should be seen in this light, so certain comments like “Kyuss have nothing to do with this” - even if they come from very nice users - seem a bit dishonest to me. They would have been honest if I had said, "The Tool are better" or any other contemporary band, but from a group so historically linked, the popular uproar that happened seems quite preposterous. I probably have to say they are generated more by my vote, and if I had said, "Nice, but I prefer Kyuss" and had given it a nice 4, they probably wouldn’t have existed. But it's done now, forgive me. Good night!

I contradict myself because I forgot to deactivate the new comment notification and because I care about you. However, I don't think Homme and Oliveri were that marginal in Kyuss, even if Garcia probably carried more weight. Besides, the presence of half of the surviving members of a band like Kyuss makes every comparison reasonable, especially when facing a style change like this. Everyone is free to think what they want, but I don't believe I said such a ridiculous thing that some comments above subtly denounce (we're talking about people who played in Kyuss, so they definitely matter after all). I might be boring, but I repeat I've expressed my opinion by making a comparison. Feel free to say that my judgment on the album is wrong, but it's a bit less fair to criticize the parallel. After all, it's History, isn't it? Probably, if I had said "Nice, but I prefer Kyuss" and given it a solid 4, there wouldn't have been this popular uprising. Unfortunately, I gave it a 2. Oh well, forgive me, be kind. Now I’ll deactivate the alarm, and goodbye!

Ah, one last thing before going to bed, if you really have to tell me that I don’t understand a damn thing, besides writing it here, send it to me privately because I won’t be coming back to this review. Good night, beautiful people, and no irony, I love you! P.S.: any nomination to Caso Umano will be appreciated.

...and this thing of seeing it as a stain to compare the QOTSA to Kyuss, I haven't compared them to the Village People, but to a band that seems quite close... I don't see the reason to be scandalized.

C'mon, when I say the same components I mean the thinking minds, I know very well that they weren't all the same, come on, let's not nitpick, I liked the Kyuss style, this one I don't, that's all. It doesn't seem like a state matter for a couple of points. Let's move on.
