@Don: I really don't think so... Hi!

Yes, I saw it and I liked it. I'm not sure about the sales discussion, but I believe the group that sold the most in the world is the Bee Gees, and that ABBA is in second place (even above the Beatles), but I don't want to say something incorrect; someone will correct me. Regarding the quality Pop discussion, I obviously agree... Thank you for stopping by. In the review, at a certain point, I wrote vicissitudi... it's obvious that I meant to write vicissitudini, and also, due to distraction, I made a couple of mistakes with double letters that I hope you will forgive me for. One last thing, I'm quite sure I included the Link for another version of the "Happy New Year" video; did I make a mistake, dear Editors?

@Odra: honestly, you are quoting single sentences out of context, where the triggering reason that led Flin to express himself in such a way is not clear. I believe that such reactions are not appropriate regardless of the provocation, but in general, to argue, at least two people need to be involved. That's why I refrain from making judgments, except to dissociate myself from that type of reaction. I repeat, both you and Flin have always treated me correctly, so I don't see why I should interfere in a discussion that, among other things, addresses issues I don't find interesting. I wanted to leave a post only because I was being drawn into it, and it is known that often silence is taken as consent. I wanted to clarify my distance from this type of "debate," which definitely does not belong to me. I knew I risked being seen as someone who does not take a stand to remain friends with everyone (to put it in a Christian Democrat way), but I didn't care because, in my conscience, this type of attitude is not part of my personality. Therefore, I don't mind being pointed out as such; only I know how I truly am, and that is more than sufficient for me. I ask you to believe me. If you think my stance is blindness or "interest," I'm sorry, but I don't know what to do about it... regarding DeB, so far, I have left 29 (30 if the strike ends) reviews (plus one in Literary Cases and one that was never published) and about 3000 comments without ever offending anyone, but always engaging in the debate without shying away from the responsibility of taking a stand. I have many users who can confirm this, but I won’t mention them to avoid sparking a "chain reaction." So even now, I'm not fleeing because I have taken a position, one that does not interest me in the discussed topic but has intervened to clarify a few things because I was cited—nothing more. With Unwavering Respect. Mo.

I'm intervening only because I saw that I was "nominated," and I don’t want my silence to be interpreted as tacit approval of any of the positions expressed above. Regarding the relationships with Flin, I must quote the good Bartle, but I cannot comment on the "strongly tinted photograph" as I don't know what it refers to. Almost everyone who has contributed to this page knows me and understands that my non-position is not democristiano but rather a reflection of my desire to stay away from any disputes not related to the objectives of DeBaser, which in my opinion should aim to engage users in discussions about Art and Life applied to it, according to criteria of common sense, civilization, and mutual respect. That said, I hope I won’t be seen as "Swiss" either (no offense, Kosmo!).

ah..one last thing...the transcendent emotions that it conveys to me seem to have been captured in the last lines before the PS... ;-)

I don't think I've minimized anything; if your friend doesn't understand that the ironic tone I use is absolutely affectionate towards a genre that I still listen to (the technical notes I include are general for the genre to help those who aren't familiar with what I'm talking about), often (I remember that I rated it 4 stars...) I don't know what to tell you. As for the voice in question, I'm sorry to hear that it's now assumed that someone who listens to many different genres can't talk about one that's far from what it might seem (tell your friend that I listen to Maiden even without his approval), especially if a connoisseur of the genre like S4 gives it a good rating (4). I think it's clear that I must not have said many incorrect things. Anyway, everyone is free to think as they wish, and I’m not the type to take myself too seriously (even concerning my tastes). The irony I use in describing certain things is a consequence of this. I invite your friend to do the same and to see music for what it is and not as a "universal religion," as religions (I mean those...) have only caused harm from my point of view. Best regards!
