I like it a lot! "I need your magic touch, don't you know
I'm after you and now I can't let go
Take it easy, take me slow
You better get it while it's hot now babe
Cause I can't let go"

I've never liked it much, and the reason is explained by you when you talk about Stone... the review is still perfect with the spirit of the work!

So... the movie itself isn't bad, the first half hour is even engaging but then it falls into a rather trivial horror where I can only praise the cinematography. That said, I might give it a passing grade, but the real issue is different; certain things need to be respected. The essence of the book was a fascinating metaphor about diversity, and here I saw it reduced to a melancholic/optimistic mess that, among other things, features so many narrative contradictions that it's frightening, if you pay attention (if comparisons are made with previous adaptations, it loses 10-0, but it also falls short compared to more recent films like "28 Days Later"). That's all, it’s not a matter of adaptation as the reviewer implies, but of ethics in approaching certain works. Best regards.

Among all the discrepancies that exist, you don't mention the main one that makes this film fundamentally useless and that I have briefly argued, anyway here are more details link rotto Bye.
