@47:I think that any voice would ruin it, for the rest as you know I don't agree, but no problem anyway, to put it in CaneNero's way ;-)

Here there are people who talk and pass judgment without having listened to the CD; for this record (with due caution), comparisons to grunge are all valid. Of course, one cannot define Dickinson as "grunge" (a term that, by the way, means very little if used out of context), but throughout his career, the guy has certainly experimented, and he deserves a bit of respect.

@47: There's a lot to salvage in Dickinson's career, and anyway, the 1s are rather inelegant. Bye.

In fact, you can say anything about 47, but not that this is a Maiden-like album.

Without infamy, without praise, the next ones would have been much better.

I only know him by name; an uncle of mine used to listen to him, but I was already somewhere else. I join in the praises for the writing.

I will listen to him, but I have doubts.

To the form anyway.

Well, to begin with, Blaze simply wasn't suited for Maiden, and the fact that he may be a valid singer in other genres is another matter. Any album from Maiden since 2000 is light years ahead of those produced in the '90s (including the Bailey era). On this point, I must say that the best of that decade is undoubtedly "The X Factor," primarily because it will go down in history as the darkest album of "ours," and there, Blaze is ultimately passable. Anyway, I've seen Bailey with Maiden live three times, and he was quite unpresentable, as everyone seemed to agree in their comments after those concerts (both regarding his vocal performances and stage presence). As for all the other discussions about clichés regarding metalheads, I find it rather unnecessary to even talk about it.
