And this, for me, I repeat, is wrong, but not because I am from Veneto; it would be the same if I were to define, I don't know, all people from Piedmont as snobbish. What a drag, Venetians = bigots, Sicilians = mafia members, Sardinians = shepherds, Lombards = supporters of the League, absurd stereotypes, and then we wonder why hostilities arise. I invite those who support Poletti (who often has valid points but not this time) to speak for themselves. I am Venetian; I may not be the brightest, but I'm not a bigot either, just as none of the Sardinians I know are shepherds, or any Sicilians are mafia members. If someone believes they live in a region of bigots, they’re free to think that, but that doesn't mean they can lump everyone together.
