Don't take it the wrong way, Valeriorivoli, but my review is better; you fell into the trap of explaining an unexplainable film, of objectifying a work that does not deserve to be treated so poorly as to be "explained." It's not a phone book. Yours is a Thesis, not a review. An obvious thesis. That’s why your review received higher marks than mine; it’s obvious. Banally fascinating. But pointless and harmful.

the best of rhapsody, not technical, pompous, and baroque but elegant, essential, balanced.

The Actor's Suitcase is Wonderful, Souls saved Idem. And yet I have a particular fondness for Odysseus... you know, they are different things, in terms of content those two songs surpass Odysseus (in the end, it's just a chronological narration of the "turbulent events" of a sailor). Yet, on a purely technical level, Odysseus is incomprehensible. I would dare to say it's a Dantesque song. The way Guccini manages to express himself in perfect verses and rhymes... it's... I don’t know... incredible. The rhythm is really beautiful too... at times it feels like you are traveling with Ulysses. Try to take the lyrics and read them as if they were a poem, it’s equally beautiful. (sorry for the late reply, I haven't had my PC these weeks)
