Niccolò Fabi Novo Mesto
Voto:
You're right, Verdena are very, very good. Even live. The first and the last Requiem are two great albums.

Trust me Luigi, buy the records by Dalla from the '70s, those by De Andrè, those by Venditti from '76 to '82. Don't waste time with Morgan, Angelini (I saw him in Milan - he was opening for Fabi) and Silvestri. I'm saying this for your own good. Don't be presumptuous, trust me. Grow musically. The Afterhours, who are a great rock band, also always rank first in the charts.

Excuse me, I'm almost 40 years old and I know Italian music very well. Morgan's albums (aside from the well-done cover of De André's album) are worth very little. The only good album by Silvestri is the first one. Angelini has the sole merit of having a hot wife. The Afterhours are not pop. Battiato can't be identified as an artist of the last ten years. It's obvious from a mile away that some of you are very young, no offense intended.

Well, I said, referring to pop songs, some song by Ferro. "Non me lo so spiegare," for example, is a great example of a singer-songwriter song. I get that it's cool to take shots at the mainstream. What should I write?!? Give me an example of a decent Italian pop singer from the last 10 years. Do you like Morgan, Angelini, Dirisio, la paranza, I don't know?!?
Oasis Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants
Voto:
If you like Britpop, there's nothing more representative than the first, the second, and the last album by Oasis. I don’t know how you can speak well of this album, which is a drag, and which has been described as tired by Noel himself.

Fabi and some songs by Ferro. Everything else is boredom (of contemporary Italian pop music). Fabi is deserving, he's very good live as well. Songs that radiate warmth.
The Vines Highly Evolved
Voto:
In my opinion, it's one of the few good albums in recent years. Live, however, they act like kids. You can tell they are rockstars who grew up with a PlayStation.
Van Halen Women And Children First
Voto:
Ugly album. By Van Halen, I would recommend I, II, 1984, and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge - the only decent one with Hagar.
Suzanne Vega Beauty & Crime
Voto:
Suzanne Vega is quite boring. Aside from a few nice singles (Luka, Solitude Standing, Marlene on the Wall, Tom's Diner), she's great as an alternative to Valium. I would suggest following other artists.
