I remember the Psychedelic Furs for their beautiful singles with very dark sounds, namely Imitation of Christ and Sister Europe (I think from the first album) and President Gas and Love my Way (I think from the third). It’s true that with this album they sought an easier success, but the various singles The Ghost in You, Heaven, and Heartbeat were nonetheless decent. The pop of the ’80s, in its commercialism, still had dignity, a foundational warmth. As for the Depeche Mode, I believe that, more than having produced great albums, they delivered great singles here and there, even though Ultra is a masterpiece from beginning to end.

Well, I meant to say that the single, in its disengagement, is quite cute. It's very easy listening. I didn't mean to say that pop has nothing to do with culture. Targets are hit, not culture. I meant that sometimes you shouldn't overthink things. But now, it doesn't seem appropriate to have a discussion about nothing.

I would recommend forgetting about Radiohead and logging into ticketone. At 10:00 PM they will release tickets for the only Italian concert in March by AC DC. They will be available for a few hours. Forget about Radiohead...
