Well, Mannoia didn't seem to be unknown when she sang Pescatore. It seems to me, though I'm not entirely sure, that she had already sung Caffè nero bollente at Sanremo, which gave her a decent amount of popularity. Let's say that Pescatore is the first song of a certain level. Caffè nero bollente has always been sung at concerts by the clever Mannoia up until 15 years ago, then she realized that singing it would harm her reputation, deserved or not, as a top-level interpreter.

When you say that Bloodflowers is unbeatable, maybe you're exaggerating a bit. It's a failed attempt to copy Disintegration, come on. I can't remember a single song from this album. I immediately labeled it as flat.

Good, but too similar to Cave. A bit too much.

I don't think I'll ever buy this album. After Disintegration, they only made bad copies of their previous albums. Even Wish, aside from Trust and From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea, was a bad album. Live, they're still solid and generous. Although Smith, with all that makeup and that belly, is becoming a bit pitiful. He should make a clean break, take off the makeup, focus on sobriety; he's grown up now. In Milan, they say pumpkin and melon in their season.
Vinicio Capossela Da Solo

Well, let's hope not. Capossela is definitely not capable of writing Il Portiere di notte or I dubbi dell'amore. Capossela has always irritated me. When I've met him at some concerts, he always seems to be acting a part, that is, the part of the artist. Ruggeri, on the other hand, is likable and not contrived. When I saw Costello, he was sitting behind me, genuinely engaged. When I saw the Stranglers, he was right in front of the stage with me, even though he was at the height of success... Ruggeri is spontaneous, unlike Vinicio. Ruggeri is someone who enjoys life. Anyway, I would avoid making unnecessary comparisons. Best regards and good luck.

Ruggeri is not anyone's clone. Ruggeri has been, for a good part of his career, original. Capossela has always been a copy.

I already don't like Waits much, let alone this. I've seen him a couple of times at concerts. If I hadn't recognized him, I would have given him a few coins. Bah

Well, you haven't missed Petty, right... Good job. If you like this, get Glitter in the Gutter by Jesse Malin. Great album. You should like it. A tip from DJ to DJ.

Of course, though, Arcieri at Antenna 3 Lombardia who sings songs from the '60s with his cell phone on the screen to have contacts... quite a miserable end. I wouldn't want to correct you, sfasciacarrozze, but Arcieri is spelled with an "i."
