Duran Duran All You Need Is Now

...indeed The man who stole a leopard is a good piece...very Rio...the single is truly unlistenable...
Depeche Mode Exciter
Voto:
The latest album and Exciter are truly unbearable to listen to...

...the problem is that everything is free...everything is much easier...everything is rushed...the culture of time is gone...if you buy caviar, you savor it and try to understand its value because you've paid for it; you've made a sacrifice to have something...if caviar is given to you for free, you stuff yourself with it without appreciating the taste...forgive the silly metaphor, but it clearly illustrates the concept...a large part of people, not all for goodness' sake, but the majority, overindulges...then if we come to say that the value of an Mp3 is equal to that of a vinyl record, we are truly very far apart...the difference between vinyl and Mp3 is precisely the warmth that was felt many years ago and that is no longer there...

...the problem is that now everything is much simpler, much faster...20-30 years ago, records were bought, the vinyl and the cardboard cover were "smelled," the booklet was read, the songwriters were checked, and there was an effort to understand the lyrics of the songs...now, by downloading everything that's possible, many create confusion rather than a culture...

...well, the charts will also feature many trash songs, but it was a certain level of trash that has remained in the social fabric...Stella Stai, Su di Noi, Kobra, Non so che darei...I mean, they might not be masterpieces, but they had a fundamental warmth, an authenticity...everyone knows these songs...I don't think Mengoni's or Amoroso's songs, which are at the top of the charts, will be remembered in 30 years...there's a difference in depth, for sure...

Well, I too, being the age of Primiballi, can really only listen to the singer-songwriters of the '70s - early '80s... I don't think it's a matter of snobbery... I've also tried to enjoy some modern singer-songwriters, but without much success... they feel a bit like copy and paste to me... the last wave I liked was that of La Crus / Massimo Volume (especially La Crus)... whether this is a limitation of mine, I don't know, but that's how it is... a greeting to Bartleboom, whom I met at Magnolia a couple of years ago, a hello.

...well...we're not talking about Marco Carta, Emma Marrone, or Valerio Scanu here...we're talking about a crystalline talent, who has already done her fair share of hard work but, alas, needed x factor to gain the rightful recognition...Nathalie is the only one who can make me enjoy songs that, before her interpretation, I considered mediocre, such as Tu che sei parte di me by Paifico...in my humble opinion, she is the best Italian interpreter of the last 10 years...
Massimo Volume Cattive Abitudini

Beautiful album... a grand return

Nathalie is truly on another level... the only one who can have a future among the kids of the show... maybe too substantial to be successful today in Italy...
