Let's say that I lost her precisely because I liked her. Now our lives are so different and far apart that no one would say we were once inseparable.

@ Masturbatio: thanks for the compliments. Indeed, the mood is definitely autumn/winter, but it's worth listening to the album even during the beautiful season.
@ Che: I don’t believe she had any childhood trauma, she was just dumped by her boyfriend and wanted to express her feelings through music.

I bought the book a while ago, but I still haven't bothered to read it. But with this nice review, you've made me want to finally open it.

One of the most beautiful books I have ever read. Frigid, dark as night and devastating. McCarthy is a genius.

A great book, this one by Nick Cave. It moved me with the father-son story, especially because here the adult-child roles are reversed, creating a lump in the throat imagining that poor boy who has to take care of a father who is anything but present. It may not be a masterpiece, but I recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful novel, a true masterpiece by the great Charles. In fact, I might just read it again...

A surprising album from Lee Ranaldo. Sincere and moving in its simplicity. There are goosebump-inducing tracks like "Off The Wall," "Hammer Blows," and "Stranded" that I could listen to endlessly without ever getting tired. Everything else exudes class and style in abundance. Great Lee and great album.

Here, I am one of those who snubbed the "competing" review on the rabbit site. I reiterate it here: the album is brimming with references to other Italian bands/artists, both past and present, but that doesn't mean there's a lack of innovative ideas. On the contrary. The songs all seem (perhaps excluding the last one "Tigri," which I really don't understand) modern, cynical, politically incorrect, and wonderfully brilliant. Raina is a great talent, and his desire to completely change the sound of Amor Fou was courageous but, above all, spot on.

Great review, even though, considering that the album in question is an ENORMOUS album, I would have liked the reviewer to spend more time on the various tracks. With each listen, I notice Kanye's brilliance. I find that each of the 13 pieces of the album is a rare gem of quality. A record that undoubtedly ranks among the best of the year; in fact, I can say it’s the best album of 2010. Even to those who don't listen to this genre, I highly recommend "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy," visionary, brilliant. A jolt in the commercial music scene so filled with flatness and mediocrity.

Thank you, Fosca, it's always nice to see someone who is interested in serious music =)
