This album is beautiful. Its lyrics that describe moments of everyday life are perfect, and I can relate to them a lot. A wonderful debut, with the only tiny flaw of being a tad long, but that's okay.

Talking nonsense about the Muses based only on a song you just heard is wrong; at least wait to hear the whole album, for heaven’s sake! As for Skrillex and that kind of "music" for clueless kids, I agree, it's crap.

"Heart Of Snow" and "Set Us Free" drive me crazy every time I listen to them. An exceptional record, among the best debuts of the past decade.

The most beautiful review I've ever read for the most beautiful album I've ever listened to. Masterpieces.

I agree with the reviewer in saying that this album lacks innovation, imagination, and perhaps even too much inspiration, but the songs flow beautifully, and listening to it on these sunny August days energizes me. As The Giant mentions above, we don't always have to focus solely on masterpieces and discard everything else! Come on!

For me, the album works just fine. The central part ("I 400 colpi," "La primavera araba," and "Le guerre umanitarie") is practically perfect. Beyond the unfounded criticisms, Amor Fou has hit the mark, carving out a place for themselves in the Italian music scene that matters.

A perfect review for a perfect album. I loved it, and even now, every once in a while, when I feel the need, I put it on and travel with my mind. An experience to have, beyond musical tastes.

The first time I listened to "Oceania," I was practically holding my breath the whole time, scared by the idea that it might be a cosmic piece of junk. Thankfully, it is not. The songs are honest and well-crafted, with Billy once again proving capable of great things. The more I listen to it, the more I like it.

I know the Roots' "Phrenology" (a spectacular album) and the latest "Undun," one of my favorite listens from last year. I'm going to grab this one now; you piqued my curiosity with your review. Good job :)

I connect the mood of this album to mid-September, when you know it's still summer but can feel all the autumn's melancholy in the air. My favorite time of the year and "Bloom" one of my favorite albums of the year.
