I know Glen Hansard only from the movie "Once" (which I think is beautiful). The song "Falling Slowly" is stunning, but unfortunately, I only vaguely remember the album. Let's say that the sad and poignant tracks (like "The Cost") struck a chord with me, while the rest slips away without leaving a trace.

Beautiful album, like all the ones by Sigur Rós to be honest. I loved the previous one precisely because it was more "pop" than usual, and in the same way, I adore this Valtari because it is the exact opposite. One of the few bands that never disappoints me.

I find this album very beautiful, especially for the lyrics. "Il corvo Joe" is chilling, and Rachele's voice is always sublime. It's true that they are not very likable, I agree. Bianconi is a dandy, a poet, and as is normal, he has a lot of airs about him. But to speak poorly of Baustelle just for that, no.

Ooh, I was missing out on two wonderful things. This poetic review and the album in question, sweet sweet sweet. Well, I'm catching up by adding both to my favorites list.

Hey, thanks everyone for the comments! I still don't have Constellations, but I think I'll look for it in the next few days.

I discovered the Roots with "The Seed," and I must say the album is remarkable. It's not my preferred music genre, but I see in them hip-hop musicians with a "rock" soul, and that's exactly why I appreciate them.

Beautiful album, it creates magical and dreamy atmospheres. I might be crazy, but some tracks reminded me of early Radiohead (Especially "Para") and also dEUS (in particular "The vanishing Mind"). Anyway, great record, and now I'm going to get the older ones too.

Great band that I don't know much about. Tonight I'll give this record a good listen and then I'll revisit... it inspires me a lot :)

Huge disc, the best of the Beatles, or at least the one that personally excites me the most.
