I too, reading here and there, was intrigued by this girl. Unfortunately, the album is not what I expected, and as you say, there’s too much "chart pop" that ruins a debut that could have been great. What a shame. You, as always, are brilliant.

Chet Baker was a truly interesting character, unconventional and precisely for that reason fascinating. Even though I’m not a jazz lover, I quite enjoy the song. So well done for this suggestion and for the excellent intelligent review.

I always enjoy your reviews more and more. This one is really well written :) I won't express my opinion about the band and the album because I don't know them, but just knowing that they have supported the Melvins suggests to me that they are not exactly what I usually listen to.

Wow, what a lovely review! When you write about cinema, it’s a pleasure to read you. The film, once again, I don't know it. It’s too much for me, I don’t know if I would be able to endure the three hours. Anyway, good job, chettelodicoaffà. :)

I don't like these stool-focused reviews...oh well.

Here I am again after the necessary listening. My eardrums thank you, and I thank you for introducing me to this musical genre that I had barely known until last year. Once again, the score for the album is quite high (when the girl sings "normale" without screaming, it's something amazing. The final piece is stunning).

I won't even compliment you on the review; it's already implicit and obvious. When I see a review with your signature on the homepage, I know it’ll be an album I’ll enjoy. I’ve never heard them before, even though I’ve noticed them among the amazing releases from Deathwish this year. I’ll listen, ninety-five percent sure it will be another pleasant discovery.

Usually, I like him as an actor; I didn't even know he had decided to become a director! I'll take a look, your review has piqued my interest.

I missed this one. A beautiful review that piques my curiosity. I'm going to get it, then I'll come back to comment on the album. In the meantime, no one can take that five away from you!

Great review, short but it says everything that needs to be said. I've been listening to the album again these days and I have to say it's one of the best electronic records of the year (even though Boards Of Canada and Fuck Buttons still stay a step ahead). Nightmarish and unsettling atmospheres that are never boring. Really nice :)
