Watched it last night in a semi-empty theater. Among its strengths, I found the plot to be very fluid; in almost three hours, I was never bored even for a minute. The actors (McConaughey and Hathaway in particular) performed excellently, while Matt Damon didn’t, and his character could have been left out. Spectacular special effects and music. Among the weaknesses, as you mentioned in your review, there was too much "exposition" at the end and a classic American ending. It won't make it into my list of favorite films, but I’m happy to have spent 8 euros and three hours of my life watching it.

Beautiful film, even now that I am old, I still really enjoy it.

Excellent review as always. As DeMarga says, with you one risks always giving the same compliments :) bands and albums I've only heard mentioned, but their resemblance to Interpol doesn't entice me to listen to them...

What a beautiful cover! I’ve never heard of them, maybe they’re not my favorite genre but I’ll look them up out of curiosity. You’re getting better and better :)

I thought everyone liked this album. I'm surprised that not everyone appreciates it. Anyway, I'm glad to see different opinions, thanks for stopping by :)

Great review. This year it seems that stoner/doom is back in fashion. I'm really enjoying the Electric Wizard album, as well as the one by Earth. I'll add them to the list too :)

I saw the trailer some time ago and I told myself it wasn't for me. Then Fassbender in a silly comedy? That didn't sound too good to me. But I'm as curious as a monkey, so I'll go see it. Good job, Ale XD

I listened to the album on Bandcamp and I have to say it hits really hard. A slap right in the face. I’ll listen more closely, but for now, I’m giving you five for the review. Reading it, it doesn’t even feel like a review, but more like a dialogue between you and the reader, a flow of thoughts and emotions brought on by listening to the record. Well done :)

I tried to listen to it, curious about all the (too much?) hype surrounding the album. I don't like it; everything felt too "plastic." Nice review, though.
