Oh finally, here it is! As always, a perfect review. In my opinion, and as Loconweed said, this is the best album by Deafheaven. This time they went straight to the point, they found the sound they had stretched too much in "Sunbather". Five stars to the well-groomed Californians and to you, adopted Californian :D

Country? Rockabilly? Interesting, those are genres I’ve never delved into but that I find fun. Another listen added to the list. Luckily, Spotify exists :D

Beautiful review, your honest passion for this genre and music in general really shines through. A band I've only heard mentioned, maybe it's time to dig deeper (this time not being death metal, it might even appeal to me more hehe!)

I believe it's the first time I've read a review from you about a band that you didn't totally like. I'll listen to them anyway :)

The album didn’t excite me, but it’s still nice to listen to every now and then. The review, on the other hand, is excellent :)

This album really surprised me last year: the production handled by Deathwish gave a remarkable boost to Edwards' sound. Not perfect, here and there some tracks become a bit dull, but all in all a nice record to start with when exploring Wovenhand's discography.

Your writings are always wonderful, even though I often don't know the music you're talking about. But well done, I immerse myself in the reading as if I were reading a book.

It seems to me like a well-made album, and I really enjoy the fact that the melodies of some tracks are created by deconstructing and stripping down the sounds. "Mutant Standard" is phenomenal, perhaps one of the most beautiful electronic tracks of recent times.

How did I not comment on this review sooner? One of my favorite albums of recent years (even though the list is very long). Here, the PBTT are emotionally devastating from start to finish; they know how to penetrate your soul. I still appreciated the "clean" turn in Keep You, but this remains their best album.

Beautiful review, well done! They are a monument, nothing more to say :D
