Your review is beautiful, as you have accustomed all of us to these writings of exceptional quality. I hold Nick Cave in high regard, but I just can't listen to this album. It's incredibly heavy in content and extremely long in duration. Unfortunately, it's my limitation, but on this page, everything is lovely.

The album is not bad, but in many songs I feel that something is missing. As algol said above, it lacks that bit of madness that distinguished them in their golden days. It's a nice album that can be listened to (with standout tracks like "On Graveyard Hill"), but nothing special.

I was born right in 1986, and obviously, I don’t remember the events. Seeing them depicted in the series (albeit somewhat fictionalized) made me realize how many attempts there were to cover everything up, despite the severity of the situation. And knowing how many people lost their lives because of the disaster, many of them almost unaware of the consequences, is dreadful. I found the series very well made; the direction and cinematography are excellent.

I won't comment on this mess of a "review"; I hope someone comes up with a more intelligent analysis.
