Claudio Baglioni Q.P.G.A.
Voto:
Nice review. A small note: you mention "La Vita E' Adesso" and "Oltre," and wonder how you could feel such strong emotions with those albums. Well, I would add my own fourth theory, beyond youth: back then, Baglioni actually had a few ideas. Ideas that led to the creation of good songs and, why not, some excellent albums (like "Oltre," for instance). It’s just before 2000 that this man started to prefer coasting on past successes with a devastating lack of ideas. Someone might tell me, "But Baglioni has always coasted on his past!" And here too, the above argument applies...

But also from "The Dance of Saint Vitus"... or from the first one, "At One Thirty-Five Around," to hear how Vinicio has evolved over time.

Reverse, that's precisely the problem. The Cop Shoot Cop records are among the hardest to find, and not just here in Italy. Just think that on eBay (foreign version), the vinyl of "Consumer Revolt" was being sold for between 50 and 100 dollars, if I remember correctly. Then again, it's not out of the question that, like what happened to Don_Pollo, a miracle could happen. P.S.: I correct my previous post: instead of "di mezzo," I meant to say "in mezzo."

Splendid, from beginning to end. I also remember when Grasshopper (he's back!) mentioned Coleridge while talking about "S.S. Dei Naufragati." And he’s right, it indeed has a hint of "Rime of the Ancient Mariner." Oh, it certainly does.

2 hours of D'Alessio instead of Agnelli? Well, happy for you... XD

Beautiful band. Too bad their works are almost impossible to find, unless you're dealing with stores specialized in "import" distributions. "Room 429" is a classic. The review is very good, but I prefer the one from ThirdEye. Just one thing: I would include Foetus among the fathers of industrial, not as THE father. There are Throbbing Gristle in the mix (who, by the way, I didn't know about until a few years ago).
Daniele Silvestri L'imperatore Tiberio

Heard tonight on Blob. Charming, but I expect more from Silvestri. Especially after "Il Latitante," which is definitely below par compared to what he has done previously.

Beautiful and original. Not for everyone, though. I also wanted to review it, but you, obviously, beat me to it.

Agnelli-Godano decree? AHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! Anyway, the record intrigues me quite a bit. And if Favero is mixing, even more so.

I've never explored his music much, perhaps because years ago it convinced me very little, compared to the unreasonable admiration I have for his father. Is it time to make amends?
