I put "unless otherwise noted" because I know FULL WELL that Frankie started in 1992, and I didn't say he's the only one I find redeemable! I simply meant to say that today there are few who motivate me, besides Frankie, who was already there. I also like some current hip-hop artists in Italy, like Colle Der Fomento (even though they were already around before 2000), or Uochi Toki, who not many seem to know from what I've seen. As for Club Dogo, I need to form a precise idea about them, because the last two singles (excluding "Tornerò Da Re") from their latest album don’t really impress me... I won't comment on Fibra and Marcio. I know little about Truceboys/Truceklan (similar formation), but what little I've heard doesn't move me; do I need to hear more?

Come on, ZiOn, just for such a mistake you give me one in the review, LOL... since I don't know how to define the music of Sottotono in this album... it's obvious that when I mentioned hippoppettaro I didn't mean the likes of Bambaataa, Herc, Grandmaster Flash... but I was talking about Italy...

I gave it 3 stars because, as mentioned above, the piece mixes unlistenable stuff with listenable stuff (including some great tracks)... and anyway "Mezze Verità" is obscene. I will never forget when they beat up Staffelli... SHAMEFUL!
