Ah, I forgot to clarify another thing about why you asked me why I consider the Baustelle valid, also specifying my love for Alice and Faith. Speaking ONLY about the Baustelle, I like them because I don’t find any bad or brain-dead music in their work, and the lyrics seem rich with intelligent allusions (in some cases) that sometimes require a bit of time to understand deeply. When "Sussidiario Illustrato Della Giovinezza" was released, they managed to tell the story of love in a way that was different from the usual Vaschian stereotypes of recent years. The same goes for the subsequent album, which also addressed sadder themes (see "La Malavita"). And this "Amen" is a kind of portrait of the decay of today's world, where western and horror films are referenced in certain sounds. Not like Rhapsody, who just throw in nonsense! For me, Baustelle are "simple yet effective," and maybe for someone who only relies on singles, they might seem silly (that’s not my case; "Charlie Fa Surf" is inspired by many things and "Colombo" is a sort of critique of a modern Vallettopoli if you catch my drift, as the characters mentioned in the lyrics were part of various episodes of the TV show of the same name), but everyone should live and let live.

"What does this mean, that Gigi D'Alessio is a valid singer?" Certainly not. My mother thinks that Opeth or Nine Inch Nails are not music, and then she praises Tiziano Ferro and Antonino from Amici (But who is he? To make her happy, I had to tell her a half-truth), to give you a similar example. My objection was due to the fact that the generalization "for people with mediocre tastes" is, in my opinion, too exaggerated, especially since you mentioned not responding with fucking commonplaces. The fact that I specified I don't belong to a category of "mediocre tastes," as you said, is precisely because of the reason above. "I don't understand according to which criteria your judgment on the artistic validity of Baustelle must somehow be argued through the fact that you listen to Alice in Chains and Faith No More." Here we come back to what I just wrote! I know people who listen to Baustelle and Max Pezzali (which, for crying out loud, today is anything but good... practically much worse than the much-criticized Baustelle), but I also know people who listen to both Baustelle and Area or PFM or the aforementioned ones. And this is where I meant to say "it’s not always as you say, fortunately; if this were to be specified, there wouldn't be so much animosity towards you." And on the last point, those you know who complain that Opeth's "Damnation" is acoustic (and here I say? WHO CARES? It's a beautiful album regardless...) or listen to Meshuggah without understanding them deeply (see "obZen" or "Destroy Erase Improve" or pretty much everything they’ve done) are indeed cases I’ve encountered once in a hundred in my life so far...

Glen (or Glenn?) Benton is one of the biggest hypocrites, both phony and cunning, on this planet. AVOID.

The salvable artists who participated in this album are, in my opinion, the complete opposite of today’s Bennato.

What makes you think I don’t read them? I simply find it outrageous that you say such things first (message I commented on) and then go ahead and write that (your message)! And with today’s comment, you have once again shown yourself to be incapable of clarifying the reasons behind certain generalizations (message I previously commented on) from your side. I say this because THANK GOODNESS there aren’t people who have only listened to James Blunt or 30 Seconds To Mars (whom I don’t like) or those who believe that Vasco Rossi’s current work is poetry (honestly, if I hear that today, I’d die laughing at the disagreement I would feel with someone)!

NOTE: IN MY PREVIOUS MESSAGE, IN THE PART "it disgusts me to hear these words from one who says," I included an extra THAT. I'm taking this opportunity to avoid confusing the meaning of the message for those who will read it.

"At least until I hear responses with at least somewhat valid arguments rather than the usual mediocre clichés." Yes, sure. With all due respect for personal tastes, it makes me nauseous to hear these words coming from someone who says about Baustelle "Mediocre music for people with mediocre tastes," without realizing that there are ALSO people who appreciate both Baustelle and Alice In Chains, or Timoria, or Opeth, or Faith No More or De André or Demetrio Stratos or Pink Floyd... one thing is to express oneself poorly, another is to lack even a minimum of guts in responding (and therefore not arguing), as in your case when I commented on that phrase very angrily.

Cute album, even though I prefer "Blue's," "Oro Incenso & Birra," and "Spirito DiVino" (the last truly beautiful album by Zucchero for me). Things since then have seemed to lack that soul that made Zucchero great (thanks to those annoying singles). @templare: if what you said is true, I’m not surprised. I prefer the time he said "QUEL BARACCONE QUEL TROIONE QUEL BAGASCIONE QUEL CATAMARANO QUEL CASSONETTO!": I SWEAR, I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING.
