Well, guys... if we have to start talking about what we listened to from the cradle until we were 13-14-15, then I consider myself lucky to have grown up on a diet of bread and Beatles, only to later discover Robert Wyatt, De André, Fossati, Agricantus, David Crosby, Almamegretta and more (even if I would rather forget the period when I alternated Blue with Nine Inch Nails... brrrrrrrr, I was pretty much an idiot). All artists I prefer over Pezzali. Although I admit that I like certain songs from this album (and the two before it). Anyway, this is where the end of a project begins that I think had something to say, even while making little songs. This is where much, much sillier songs start to emerge slowly, along with the resulting brain damage mentioned by Lewis. "Today the level of mainstream is the same as Pezzali or Cherubini who sang with Lamiamoto or Ghimmi Faiv..." Well, as long as we have a Giusy Ferreri doing a virtual duet with Luigi Tenco (it's no joke), after having massacred Capossela and Drake, a Valerio Scanu who thinks you can make love in lakes, the aforementioned Cherubini who, after a period when he showed he knew how to compose ("L'Albero" and more), turns to writing junk like "A Te" or "Baciami Ancora" (forget "Gimme Five"!), or a little prince of Savoy who thinks he’s a singer, then it’s much better to think back to "Hanno Ucciso L'Uomo Ragno"...

For me, the Doors of the late '70s. Eerie, relentless, nocturnal. Tracks like "Che" stand here to prove it.

Well, it seems obvious to me that the Trilogy of Power and the Tetralogy of Elements belong to different galaxies. Yet, besides asserting that this album is not at all inferior to "17 Kings" (that's where "Resta" is, Iside, not here) and to "Open Your Eyes" and "Desaparecido" (aged poorly? Not for me, actually!), I don’t consider the first two works of the Tetralogy to be negligible either. It is true that, little by little, the loss of creativity was making its way, but as I see it, it’s already audible from "Mondi Sommersi," or perhaps from the decent "Spirito." Good Lewis, please don't hold it against me...

I've never seen Voyager in my life. Evidently, I haven't missed anything, judging by the comments of Panapp and Dlf.

It's a good job, but they are not yet the Beatles that I prefer. From "For Sale" they will start to pick up...

The fact that you sign yourself PDL is a bit amusing. But if you insist on writing abortions (just to stay on theme), then the laughs turn into desires to kick you in the ass. It's clear that you're asking for it. But it's up to you; life (not just the DeBaser one) is yours, and you manage it.

Pausini is a good singer, Pierpaolo? I don’t agree, just her cover album (the one with the rape of "Spaccacuore" by Bersani) would be enough to throw her into a bonfire. @Teenagelobotomy: Sure, but there’s quite a distance between Bastreghi and Merdini ;)

Teenage, don’t you dare compare miss Rachele to that goose Pausini! :D
Vasco Rossi Live @ Torino 22.04.10

Does Vasco resemble life a bit? Well, it depends. Life also has its downs. But sooner or later they pass. In Vasco Rossi's case, however, I doubt those downs will ever pass. Is going to see him a ritual? Well, there are certain fanatics who, if they don't see him on stage, start to go into a frenzy (see the May 1st concert last year)... so it can't be ruled out.

Along with "Debut" and "Post," it is part of my preferred triad from the Icelandic elf. "Vespertine" is slightly inferior to these.
