This album isn’t too bad all things considered. A solid 3 to take home. As for Marpado (who I actually like by the way…): "damn those 80s." Forgive me, you might hate me for this, but on what grounds do you define them as "damn"? Don’t forget that in the 80s there were also your (and my) beloved Depeche Mode… and there were Peter Gabriel, Fossati, De André, Guccini, Battisti, Battiato, Mia Martini, Kraftwerk, Tom Waits, CCCP, Sonic Youth, Donald Fagen, Frank Zappa (even if not in top form like in the 70s)… if they’re crap to you then goodbye world. "and nothing, nothing that manages even minimally to approach the concept of music, even before that of art." Tastes are tastes (and as far as I'm concerned Madonna said what she had to say), but have you ever heard of her "Ray Of Light"?

Recently listened to. Sensational. Epic. Majestic. Phantasmagorical. Devastating. All of this under one adjective: WONDERFUL. One of the most underrated albums of all time. My favorite song? I don’t know... but I love "Blues" and "Silenzio Totale" too much...
