It's also a matter of taste here. Anyway, I repeat, this is the ONLY 5-star album for me. The subsequent ones ("Ridillove" included) are inferior, but still good, well-packaged, well-played, and with a good use of that comic flair mentioned by Bartleboom...

Well, Sorcio, I listened to it again the other day and it seems to me very well crafted in every little detail. I wouldn't say it's a pillar of world music, yet I liked it a lot and I believe they should have been understood from the very beginning... even though some signs were already evident back then with "Mangio Amore" and "Figli Di Una Buona Stella" (both included in the subsequent "Ridillove"). Unfortunately in vain, since from "Folk & Funk" onward they've returned to being "unknown".
