It's one of my favorites from Opeth... "The Night And The Silent Water" is their zenith along with "Black Rose Immortal," something masterful that doesn't take away from Akerfeldt and the crew the 5 stars. There's soul, there's heart, there's feeling, there's anger. And everything is well organized.

It was Bonolis who insisted on having the After on the Ariston stage. Agnelli declared (I forgot to specify) that they themselves are not a Sanremo reality, but sometimes "autoghettizzarsi fa più male che altro." Well, with this statement, I think it’s clear that Agnelli and his associates are consistent in making it known that they want to challenge the "dinosaurs" (as Manuel himself used to call them), trying to outsmart the pre-packaged realities adored by today’s "ggggiovani" (to stay on topic :D). Well, we'll see how it ends...

Moreover, in the last few years, the Festival has also featured (with great pieces, among other things) Subsonica, Bluvertigo, Nada, Deasonika, Avion Travel, Cristicchi, Frankie Hi-NRG MC. Not just any old folks. However, only Avion and Cristicchi won; the others unjustly ended up last. Blame it on a jury of old-timers...
