Shinya Tsukamoto Le Avventure Del Ragazzo Del Palo Elettrico
Voto:
That it's still an ironic-delirious film I've never doubted (unlike the subsequent ones), but, I repeat, from a "game" something truly valuable was born, as I wrote above.

@Mike: I'll tell you, maybe I got confused, but there was a vague resemblance... now I'll do some research, alright.
Alessandro Baricco City

I have never read a work by Baricco, not even one. Did I miss out on something? XD
Nightwish Amaranth
Voto:
As much as I consider Anette inferior to Tarja, "Amaranth" is a great song. And I don't hear any trace of Evanescence (brrrr....).
Valentina Giovagnini Creatura Nuda

The reviewer is right: dying to receive the recognition she deserved all along. Recognition that was only granted AFTER her death, perhaps because it’s those malicious ones who think that the fortune of someone truly deserving only comes with their death. Valentina did not deserve to die nor to remain forgotten, as far as I'm concerned. She deserved (I know the Sanremo song and I liked it) and much more...

EDIT: When I mentioned "Videodrome" and "Blade Runner," I hope you understood that when I talked about them, I was referring to 5-star movies :D

@Eletto: This is not a five-star work (like "Blade Runner" or "Videodrome"), that much is certain. However, something far from low has emerged from a low budget, and in my opinion, it deserves 4 stars. p.s.: I knew you would also mention the very interesting work of Merhige; @Bartleboom: For being a "game," I think it turned out well, as I mentioned above :) I agree, though, that Tsukamoto will reach even higher levels later on (specifically with "Tetsuo" and "Tokyo Fist"). Ah, thanks for pointing out that basketball scene...mea culpa for not mentioning it! :D

Thank goodness this work has been reissued on CD, I really want to give it some thought...

SHIT.

Blackdog, I would also save "Cosa Succede In Città," "C'è Chi Dice No," and "Liberi Liberi." The real death starts with "Gli Spari Sopra," continuing even now to today's zombie-like attitude, a Mirabilandia that I don't want to visit.
