Dear Holdsworth, I do not consider Stadio on par with Slint. And if I were, perhaps you are basing this on the fact that I gave 5 stars to "La Faccia Delle Donne." I repeat, for me that is THEIR ONLY album that DESERVES 5 stars, especially when viewed from a "pop" perspective. Then there have been some decent albums of theirs (but old), but not at the levels of Slint (do you think "Siamo Tutti Elefanti Inventati," as beautiful as it is, can be considered on the same level as "Spiderland"? To me it doesn't seem so; there is a difference). Regarding the Pixies-Slipknot issue, I had already expressed my views above :D

I am not and I don’t want to be the champion of anything ;) also because I have repeatedly emphasized here that I am nobody, just a listener. It could even be a media bombardment that leads me to appreciate both Albini and Gazzé, but even if it were, I would certainly be able to dissociate what doesn’t deserve from what they have done, or at least understand whether what X has done is inferior to the product of Y. And above all, see when I will ever change my mind about things on which I don’t yet have a clear opinion... :D
