I would ask some of those who voted: have you heard ALL the songs or just the one by Afterhours?

I forgot: when Timoria went to Sanremo...some didn’t say anything, some protested, today nobody protests; when Elio e le Storie Tese went…nobody protested and that doesn’t happen today either; when Bluvertigo went many protested and today nobody does anymore; when Subsonica went the same thing almost applies; when Nada (the one from "Tutto L'Amore Che Mi Manca") went nobody said anything; when Deasonika went the same. And now that the Afterhours have gone, due to skepticism, everyone says SOMETHING? Moustache, you write beautiful reviews, but know that I realize who I'm listening to, I don't fall into the arms of Agnelli every time he writes something. If he makes a bad song, I'm the first to say it. But what's the problem if I told you that for now none of the songs I've heard from Afterhours makes me crap? And for the record, the Sanremo song I liked a bit at first, and only over time did I like it more.

Dear Mr. Fiquata, my statement about others' success was meant in this context: it is true that valid groups can also be found in the "underground" (I believe that both Musica Per Bambini and Surgery are valid groups, but they are known to few), but it must also be said that if a part of that "underground" manages to emerge (see Marta Sui Tubi, Benvegnù, Parente, Antolini, and the very After), I don't see the harm in it; the important thing (from my side) is not to get a swelled head. I know, I have no say in the matter; in fact, I have said it many times: I AM NOBODY.

Yeah, Marta Sui Tubi crap, Paolo Benvegnù crap, Cesare Basile crap... yeah, yeah... but please... here I feel the need to quote a sentence from Primiballi (because it REALLY fits the discussion): "the acrimony of many is dictated by a kind of psychiatric envy for the success of others...". At the cost of making a lot of "enemies," I say it. For me, they are the ones who rightly deserve the success they have, far better... I don’t know... than the Ministers.

I don't smell the stench of shit. Bah. And honestly, I consider Antolini, Calibro 35, and ...A Toys Orchestra to be superior to Ministri (at least the current ones).

@Franci: Sooner or later, great songwriting will enter within you... I'm sure of it.

But look at this: the whoremonger, the anteater, and Mario Cassini. The three caballeros, yes, but of foolishness.
