Maybe I misunderstood, he says that Stipe was part of the liberal enclave, not the b52... :-))

Odra, Scaruffi says this >>>>>>>><<<The B-52's effectively ushered in the golden age of Georgia rock, shifting the focus from the conservative metropolitan bourgeoisie of Atlanta to the artistic community of the university town of Athens. In this "liberal" enclave, figures like Jeremy Ayers (a protégé of Andy Warhol in the '60s and promoter of the decadent gay scene in the '70s) dominated, under whose protective wing Keith Strickland, Ricky Wilson, and Michael Stipe were formed, as well as James Herbert (photographer and art teacher), whose circle included Vic Varney and Stipe himself>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.....who knows!

Hehehe, do you remember when they set the B52 on fire? :-)) Stipe was actually part of the original lineup of the B52s.
Carl Craig Landcruising
Voto:
I listened to it; a friend of mine really likes it, both this and an album called Detroit Experiment or something like that. Honestly, techno is not my genre; it's a "culture" that doesn't belong to me, but I acknowledge that Craig goes far beyond just simple danceable "fuel." Great concise and thorough review, lucky you for having that ability to synthesize!
