Yes, yes, in '76, and Michael Stipe was there too. I heard something from the early '90s by the B-52s, and I think they were doing something different from their beginnings, but a few songs, the cheerful and carefree way of singing remind me of the Pixies, but not on a musical level, at least from what little I know of both.
