Everything is showbiz. Everything is rotten. There is no music that exists for its own sake. Every note is born to be received, and that means creating a show. The show is a job, whether it's good or bad, that involves the labor of people. Work must be compensated. Compensation creates the movement of money (business). From Nirvana emerged a great artist (who had already been musically around with Scream) like Dave Grohl, Novoselic has disappeared from showbiz (at least that of large scale) and we know what happened to Cobain. Michael Jackson, on the other hand, had a different fate. On a human level, I wouldn’t know whom to blame more between him and Kurt Cobain (even though the faults of each can be clearly distinguished!). Undoubtedly, they both engaged large masses, and that helped them especially in the later stages of their careers, but before comparing them as terms of reference, I believe it’s wise to tread carefully.

Ah, sorry... the nickname "uncle" is a very common trait in a small town in Southern Sardinia. Sfasciacarrozze knows which town I am talking about...

@Malloy: sure you're not wrong to follow them all the way to Berlin... great city!@ Tia: You can't imagine how strong my hatred for you is... did you see Queens with Dave on the drums... I would have killed for that concert... sigh, come on tell me, there was an octopus behind the skins right?? Damn... just thinking about the intro (and of course everything else in the song) of song for the deaf done by the one who "created" it rhythmically... or No One Knows... yeah, I really hate you!

Unfortunately, in that context, before the Queens, you couldn’t expect much more... it felt like a CD played as background music during the wait... maybe he’s a really great artist, don’t get me wrong, but on that occasion, he was out of place. I remember another similar experience... instead of Adrian Sherwood, there were the Him... and instead of the queens, there were the Korn... at least this poor Adrian’s treatment was limited to indifference... for the Him, however, the invective from the entire hill of the arena parco nord in Bologna erupted... and to think they even showed up with the drummer equipped with THREE speakers... drowned out by boos and the chant: Korn, Korn, Korn...
