Well, you’re not entirely wrong. Skin saturated with smoke and ash doesn’t smell nice :) I remembered another method I saw only once in my life, when I was stealing money from the state at VFA: a strip of any can, 2-3 cm wide, tied with whatever material would hold it tight.
