Ligabue Nome e Cognome

Nice review, very honest, but the premises obviously weren't enough to avoid a lot of unnecessary comments. I admit I'm a bit biased about Ligabue, but I believe this is a good album, without excellence. "Happy Hour," also suffering from its heavy use as a jingle, has been particularly penalized. It has certainly become fashionable to criticize Ligabue without always having a reason for it.

The Negrita, if I really think about it, kind of annoy me, especially Pau's style, but I really enjoy their music. After playing their greatest hits to death, I'm trying to get my hands on some of their older albums, and this Radio Zombie is a fantastic record. I'll be commercial, but "Non ci guarderemo indietro mai" has always been one of my favorites.

Reading your review, I looked up this album that I didn't know, and I have to say it's a record of great pleasantness. The first impact (especially the first part) was definitely positive, a much smoother album than "Ten Summoner's Tales." Beautiful!

Ah, good old Bernard and his campaign against the Canadian fascist! :D
But in the end, a small truce was signed.
As for the album, it's nice—there's exquisite work on the arrangements—but songs like "I'm Ready" and "Fits Ya Good," which are musically well-crafted, still have really poor lyrics, and I think that's a limitation of the work. It's like building a beautiful house on unstable ground.
But what I miss most in this album is a bit of rock! Everything is just too bland. The unreleased tracks are very nice, but they lack energy; a song like "When you love someone" is too mushy. But then again, the "authentic" Bryan Adams ended for me with "So Far So Good."
Maybe I've let myself be a bit influenced by the critical atmosphere; Adams was my idol in my teenage years, and I have sentimental ties to his music. I don't deny it, but we grow up...

I don't consider this one of BA's best albums. In fact, I believe it marks the beginning of his relentless artistic decline, and aside from the subsequent "On a Day Like Today" (1998), which is a good album (better than this, IMHO), he hasn't produced anything of value since; instead, he has become far too commercial. From this album, the title track is interesting, "We're Gonna Win," which is very energetic, "I Think About You" for its simplicity, and "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" which, although musically it gets tiresome quickly, has a commendable lyric.

What hotheads on this site! :D
Peace and Love brothers! Is there really a need to make such a fuss over different musical tastes?
Well, at least the review was appreciated, I thought it was a mess! :P
bye!

Reading the comments on other reviews, I now understand the phrase "On debaser there are a lot of charlatans." It’s a bit sad. I fear it's pointless to say that commenting is not obligatory, especially just to write nonsense; if someone really doesn't know how to spend their day, they can always take a walk on the highway!
It seems obvious to me that tastes and opinions can differ, but I believe it's necessary to express them with a minimum standard of intelligence. If that is lacking, I refer the suggestion of the highway.
In the end, I think it's pointless to give ourselves too much importance. I thank the few who have expressed sensible comments.
Regards!
