LEWIS, I think I misunderstood... you’re not annoyed with me, are you?

Dear LEWIS, only God knows whom He is pleased with or not. Frankly, it will be up to Him to decide whom to be more pleased with. It may be that I, a believer, will end up badly, while you, an atheist, will not. Should I then abandon my hopes and start pursuing the path of atheism just because you tell me that God is not pleased with me? And why wouldn’t He be? I live with a brother who has been paralyzed since birth and suffers from spastic tetraparesis as well as severe mental retardation. If this life with him has been cruel, I hope that at least the next one smiles upon him. Is it foolish to believe in this? Mock me if you want, it won't change anything anyway.

If one day I should heal from what has afflicted me since birth, it will certainly be thanks to medicine, but I owe a great part to that crucifix before which I kneel to pray that this suffering of mine ends, one way or another. Because, in my case, even death would be a liberation, but I am not afraid to face it, because I know it is not the end.
Who is afraid of dying? I am only 28 years old and I have risked dying from this illness 4 times, twice in 2006, twice in 1983. I have felt my body slowly shutting down and surrendering to itself, my eyes closing gradually, my breath decreasing little by little. But I was not afraid of dying. I was more worried about the pain that my death would cause. If these people are so intelligent, they should be able to prove and disprove that the soul does not exist. But no one can do this.

I’m only just now reading this review. As a good connoisseur of mathematics and religion, I cannot remain on the sidelines. I do not wish to spark any controversy with anyone present. I repeat: NO CONTROVERSY and I would preferably like to avoid ANY insult just because I consider myself CATHOLIC and FAITHFUL. I believe that the Church and Science should proceed in parallel directions, even though many times these tracks intersect and most often unpleasantly. That said, I have noticed several disparaging comments towards those who declare themselves BELIEVERS, believers in God and, therefore, FAITHFUL. Why mock? I could do the same as those who do not believe, but I will try to do even more. In being believers, in believing in God the Almighty Father, Creator of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible, in His son Jesus Christ who died and rose again, why must there be so much irony and hostility? Why spit on the faith that we have? Why, even today, despite the miracles of quantum theory and game theory, of science, are the numerous healings of terminal cancer patients unexplained? And many of them were atheists who later converted? This the book does not say. In the final analysis, then I'll take my leave, the "apple" question. Adam and Eve never existed; thus, the story of the apple is just a tale told to explain the nature and origin of sin, which is innately within man. "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone," and they all turned away. Because it is so. Moreover, the apple is never mentioned in the Bible and in Genesis. NEVER. It speaks of a fruit that God expressly forbade to touch, solely to test the loyalty of humankind. Loyalty betrayed by them. There is the origin of sin explained. In ancient times, God was quite vengeful towards human beings: He gave them free will, but He grew angry when His people made some mistakes (the biggest being the crucifixion of Jesus). Now we have to deal with a God who intervenes "now and then," appearing invisible to the eyes of those who want Him to be invisible. No one has seen Him; no one knows His face. "I am who I am," He reveals Himself to Moses.
Well, all this to say that, for me, the word brother has a much broader meaning. He is a brother, both my believing friend and the one who does not believe. But just as I respect his way of living in atheism, he should do the same with me, preferably without mocking or ridiculing me simply because "I believe." That said, I take my leave from these 170 comments that I did not have the (dis)pleasure of reading all, as many are truly offensive towards those who think differently, branding them as fools or whatever. No one forces you to believe. No one forces you not to believe. As you can see, we are equal.

Well... this is also (and especially) DeBaser... you have to accept it as it is, without hate or "reservations." I don't care and I keep writing, and those who are interested in my reviews read and comment on them. This while remaining completely anonymous. You make friends and see that it's not so bad as it seems.

For ignorant people, do you define "those who don't agree with your musical tastes"?
Come on, the album can be liked or not. I've listened to it several times but it makes me feel like I'm suffering from ulcerative rectocolitis. Then if we don't think like you, we're "ignorant people."
Okay. Bye bye.
