let's say that Mustaine has the "right" voice for the genre proposed by his "one man solo band". Au revoir dear Jurix ^_^

1) I hate those who refer to an album as a "CD," but I'll let that slide... 2) I hate those who call Metallica 'tallica. The same goes for Megadeth = 'Death. 3) I'll let this one go: "Mustaine has given up any ambition of reaching heights increasingly unattainable for his voice": when has he ever had the ambition to reach unattainable peaks with his vocal cords? Mustaine has always been a shit singer, mediocre at best. 4) The World Needs A Hero was, is, and will remain crap, on the same level as Risk, even though it's metal—not exactly thrash but just trash. The subsequent "The System Has Failed" is half a mess, a mix of radio-friendly songs like those on Risk and thrash songs where you can't tell what the hell he was trying to do. In short: a mishmash with too much stuff, a lot of smoke, and little meat. United Abominations is a true abomination of nature, though it shines with its own light compared to the Megadeth releases after Risk. A step below Youthanasia? Not even! Maybe a step below its successor "Cryptic Writings." Anyway, the review is sufficient. I hope the album is just as much so.

The review is good, but "The World Needs a Hero" is crap, the next one is worse, and United Abonination is an abomination of nature, although it's better than Risk and the subsequent ones but worse than Youthanasia. I will definitely listen to the album, in the meantime, here's the rating.
