@DEADHOUSE: Alright brother.. I’ll see what can be done. In the meantime, today I’m off for my "Hospital Holidays"! And anyway, I think this band would do well to change their name, from Stratovarius to Castratovarius, which suits them much better. What do you think? Let’s do a little poll? Come on with the names!

@CHAOS: no, don’t worry, you haven’t offended me at all. Getting worked up over nonsense like this… You couldn’t have expressed the concept better. I hope I’ve done the same and, anyway, why write in 17/16 when it would be easier to do it in 14.0625 (which is the result of the fraction)? I still believe that (vp)^?/e^v?-2s is one of the hardest time signatures to play (where "v" stands for root, "p" for pi, and "s" for sigma, that is, the standard deviation of the weighted average of the times. Reflect on this, people, reflect…)."

BUT EXCUSE ME: who ever said that those who love DT know nothing about music? I just say they are "obtuse" and want, seek, only absolute perfection in every single note that makes up a song, especially if it's of infinitesimal duration. Damn, I for one miss albums like IMages & Words, Train Of Thought, and even the controversial Octavarium (I liked it, despite the final two blows). But for God's sake, this album is just vomit-inducing shit. And then I may not know how to play 17/16, but dear LUPIN, you should see how good I am at playing in (vp)^?/e^v?-2s !!!! Forget about this nonsense!
In conclusion, I expressed my evaluations on this (shitty) album that I didn't like. Others might like it, but I won't put them on trial. That's it.
And anyway, reflect on: (vp)^?/e^v?-2s

@GUITARWORLD: do you know where you can shove your 17/16? @ LARROK: you’re just wasting fitao because, as I wrote, you’re facing a “nerd” average fan from the Theater of Shit Dreams. They are all-knowing and all-wise, we mere mortals. It’s useless to keep talking to someone like that, to someone who goes by “Mondo Chitarra”. It would be easier to make a convinced Berlusconian understand what kind of man Berlusconi is or to convert a Muslim to Catholicism. Instead, with DT fans or, worse, those of Merdowar, it’s a lost cause. Let them enjoy their omnivatelapesca. You’ll find comment 61 much more useful, intelligent, and constructive. As for world guitarist, let’s just draw a white veil over it.
Megadeth Endgame

@GEB: the real problem is another, at least in my opinion. I’ll start by saying that I completely agree with GEB, but... what do we expect from Megadeth today? For them to return to the times of RIP? Technically speaking, Megadeth wipes the floor with Metallica, but Master Of Puppets and Justice are amazing albums. Now Metallica comes back with Death Magnetic, which I literally slaughtered in my review because it makes me sick. They are no longer credible, it’s true. And this is not because they continue to play thrash or pseudo-thrash (Metallica docet) but simply because... they are old, aged. It’s a bit like expecting AC/DC to deliver an innovative album. Innovations are left to the young. Then there’s another reason. Both Merdallica and Megadeth made the mistake of following the trend of the moment, abandoning thrash and delving into genres that didn’t belong to them (see Load, Reload, that abortion of nature St. Anger on one side and Risk, The World... The System on the other), ending up looking like clowns in the eyes of the more objective metalheads, chasing the trend that suits them best, where money falls in piles, only to return to playing thrash as if it were a call of nature. But they do it only because everyone has told them to fuck off, both critics and fans. This is why, even while remaining a good album, a record by Metallica or Megadeth will always seem “not credible.” I must say I gave this Endgame a listen and, at first impact, it seemed "sufficient" to me. For now. Then, as we know... opinions vary. I prefer Testament, who have changed their "style" but not their genre, remaining true, changing lineup but crushing everyone. Their latest release proves it, an excellent album of solid thrash as Christ commands. Slayer, on the other hand... I don’t know? They’ve been a bit here and a bit there, but they’ve been playing the same thing for years, a bit like Deicide, who have literally bored me to death. And with that, I conclude by saying that we metalheads are a crowd too "difficult" to satisfy. We get mad if you always do the same thing, we get pissed if you change, we curse if you change and then backtrack... Therefore: evaluating Endgame without forgetting that Megadeth brought us RIP or Peace Sells... might be a good metric for assessment. Maybe.

@GEB: if it weren't for Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura (sigh...!), Anthrax, Overkill, Annihilator, Pantera, (double-sigh!), Testament, a large part of the "metal that goes elsewhere" wouldn't even exist today.
@GEMINI: my "hate" was meant ironically... not exactly literally. Do you really want to know who I truly hate? Are you sure you care? They are a respectable caste, dressed in white, boasting degrees, doctorates, and specializations, sometimes they call themselves "chiefs," to whom you have to pay quite a bit of money... if I had a random superpower, any one, even the most idiotic, I would use it to wipe them all out. Anyway, there's an abyss between CDs and vinyl... CD = "dead" medium; Vinyl = LIFE! Which (life) can be a nightmare (let’s say... Chinese Merdocracy) or wonderful (let’s say again... The Formation Of Damnation). Just to name the latest releases. Sayonara!
On the 16th of this week, Ananas will leave you for an indefinite period, hoping to manage to take a laptop with him so you won't feel too alone.

The moniker and the album title remind me of a horrible film (also with the same name)..... review, how should I put it... ZOT!
