@MOPAGA: I won't comment on "La Squadra" since I've only seen a few flashes of a few episodes and it seemed like a semi-mess. Anyway, if you vouch for the first season, OK. "Carabinieri"... my God! I don't know if I've forgotten it or if it was a conditioned reflex of my mind wanting to block it out. As for "Prison Break," I knew nothing about Miller, but the fact is that Dr. Tancredi is never seen in the third season. In fact, she hadn't signed on for that season and they decided to write her off by killing her, only to sign her on for the fourth season and have her miraculously reappear. I don't know if you followed the show, but Sara Tancredi's appearance is incredible yet never surreal. This also made it a great show (Tancredi in the fourth season really sparked my interest).

@TAURUS: the problem with such a drastic and seemingly nonsensical ending is that even in America, P.B. was losing momentum in terms of viewership. Given the drop in ratings, they chose to wrap things up with the fourth season rather than abruptly cancel it, as happened with other shows (I randomly cite Kyle XY, True Calling, and there would be countless others). They could have left an open ending, but they preferred to close it off completely without leaving any room for a potential sequel. The issue is that both in the USA and Italy (though we are more advanced in terms of mental deficiency), people prefer to tune into channels or schedules that air trashy programs (horribly stupid and disgusting like various Distretto di polizia, De Filippi & Friends, and all the reality shows, none excluded, La Squadra, and all the shitty fictions). Unfortunately, as a people, we are at the end of our rope, at least in this sense. When I was in the hospital, I ended up in a room that was a nightmare. I wanted to hang myself because we had the TV, and it was always tuned into the crap that gets thrown in your face daily (from Filippo De Maria, the most manly woman ever, to Emilio Fede, the shitty reality shows, the terrible RAI series, and the crappy Italian TV dramas like Un Medico in Famiglia... I remember one night I preferred to take a medication rather than another because the one I took would send me into dreamland. That way, I wouldn’t have to watch TV. On the other hand, I spent my time reading books or Diabolik). Plus, I’m also someone who hates waiting... I watched this show, the 4th season, entirely in the original language (subtitled), just like for Dr. House, Supernatural, and many other series (Legend Of The Seeker which here will be aired under the name "La spada della verità"). I prefer to watch them in English (the same goes for anime directly in Japanese without waiting for the often annoying and censored programming from Mediaset. Provided they even air and aren’t relegated to the DVD market "only for fans"). Best season of P.B.? Maybe the first and the last. The third one lost some steam, but the last one made a strong comeback. It’s a shame to end it abruptly, but... what sense would it have made to make the two brothers suffer for a long time, perhaps for 9 seasons? I can’t tell you if it was a good or a bad thing to end it. For sure, I will enjoy Dr. House (which seems to have a long life alongside Supernatural). Cheers, my friend!

beautiful review and amazing TV series. Have you seen the sequel that takes place right after the last episode but before the homecoming for that thing?

@ SKELETRON: it was a bar not an arcade, which is different. And, anyway, in dragonninja I said I went there against my parents' wishes but I didn't say I went when I was 8. I was a bit older (10 years).
