Following Starblazer's reasoning (comment n. 60), the same applies to, for example, "I (and when I say 'I' I mean 'YOU') am a fakes" which is incorrect; the final "s" is synonymous with plural, therefore the correct Anglo-Saxon grammatical form is as follows: "I (and when I say I always mean 'YOU') am a fake" (or if you prefer: "You (and this time I mean YOU) are a fake"). Sayonara!
