Stoney, you must have some problem.
To me, power metal sucks, to the point that I gave this album 2 stars, and that's more than enough. The other albums by VD are not power or, in any case, they’re not strictly so.
The Final Countdown isn’t the best song by HR written by human hands (and at this point I’d like some clarification from you, since you’re a music genius), but it’s an anthem (and prove me wrong, because for better or worse, it’s made people talk about it).
To conclude: I like Europe, but the early ones, up to The Final Countdown (which were already much more commercial and flashy) are very different from the first self-titled Europe or the beautiful WINGS OF TOMORROW.
TFC dominated the radio in the '80s, so there must be a reason for that. And there must be a reason why it's still not dead today.
Then when we talk about Hard Rock, you have to make a ranking of bands and songs where you wouldn’t even have enough internet sites to list them all. For me, "Who's Next" by "The Who" is beautiful, but I don’t consider it a Hard Rock album from the '80s... maybe because it was conceived earlier?

supersoul, I've already explained the reason why I sent all these reviews. I did it in one of the other reviews published, I don't remember, maybe Sand me An Angel by Vision Divine. I don't want to repeat myself twice. All I can say is that you are right, I shouldn't have sent them in bulk. However, they could have been published one by one, perhaps. But I'm not blaming others. The fact remains that if you like the album, buy it. Finally, "...with that typical arrogance of camorristas and mafias that soil Italy...." you can (indeed: you must) spare yourself that. I am not a camorrista terrorizing Italy and, honestly, it is far from my desires. Now you might say: but I made an example. And I'll tell you: it's truly a shit and bad taste example, a poor analogy (better). I don't monopolize anything or anyone. I have neither the desire nor the time to do so. Right now I'm studying probability and the theory of probability, so my mind is busy with Bayes and Laplace. If you want, I can write a review on these and you'll see it’s much worse than the ones I reviewed.....

I have a friend who lives for power metal.
He defined this as one of his best purchases. I listened to it, vomited, and reviewed it.
Max Pezzali is crap by itself... there's not even a need for reviews.

To be honest, this is a genre I detest, but the VD manage to make me like it.
Power metal, especially the tout-court kind, the Stratovarius-style, the one that's all keyboards... it gets on my nerves.
Strangely, the VD manage to intrigue me quite a bit, even though I hate their first two works.
My favorite genre is thrash and the prog of Queensrÿche (you're right when you say that Stream is very close to the 'ryche...).

I agree as well: in my opinion, the best piece of HR is definitely the theme song of Tom & Jerry.

But in fact, I didn't take it personally... I completely understand that 100 reviews all at once would have irked anyone.
