Alfred Hitchcock Psycho
Voto:
I've never seen Van Sant's remake, I'm afraid... Even though Van Sant has reached excellent levels of cinema.

One of my absolute favorites by Alfred. The review didn't blow me away, but it's quite dignified.
Stefano Bollani L'Orchestra Del Titanic
Voto:
For Antipirla, you’re mistaken; at least from my side, I only buy original CDs, also because I like having a curated collection. As for Conte: well, my dear, I feel compelled to highly recommend the album "Easy Living" because it’s outstanding, not only for Bollo's solos but also for the quality of the music and the other amazing soloists (just think about the great Petrella, highlighting the two youngest members of the quintet).
John Carpenter La Cosa
Voto:
M.Poletti, the only boring thing here is you. Sometimes switch movies, and that "Gone with the Wind" is soporific only for idiots. It’s a slow film, but certainly not boring; how can such a dense film be boring for someone with an empty head like yours?
Stefano Bollani L'Orchestra Del Titanic

I don't know the album, but there's little to say about Bollani; he's great. I have his solo piano album on ECM and it’s fantastic. Just one thing I didn't like was the final phase: "A jazz album? No, much, much more." But everything you've described in the review is JAZZ; what else is jazz music (since its dawn) if not music contaminated by multiple influences?
John Carpenter La Cosa
Voto:
definitely poorly executed, this film by the good Carpenter fails miserably here, making a genre film like so many others

We are always at very high levels now as reviewers, even if I don't agree with you in saying that Coleman's "free jazz" is not a masterpiece, but that's a matter of taste. Then finding records and names in jazz that are so little known but probably deserve more "visibility" is a true pleasure. I have some CDs from fmp (a commendable record label) and they usually release free or improvisational music tout-court (I don't know if that's how it's spelled) anyway, I’ll also add this to my shopping list. again, congratulations.

for a movie like that, I wouldn't spend even 1 euro and I'm sure I can find better things to do
Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon

But who are they? Never heard of them, and then this album with that black cover featuring a prism of light, it will be the usual trendy band that lasts a season and then…
John Badham La Febbre Del Sabato Sera (1977)
Voto:
Savickas, you’re right, "Pulp Fiction 2" is definitely inferior to "La Febbre" :-( but what are you saying!
