Dear chicken, I read something instead, isn't it the "alternative" critic I've never heard of, who writes for "cinema dal sottosuolo"? I insult you, who are nobody, instead of insulting people who have made an important mark in their field.

Let's not start comparing Elio musically with Zappa because it's like comparing Mozart with castellina pasi, thank you. The "sbrodolamenti" as you call them in Zappa are overflowing but never excessive. I've only compared Zappa to Elio because I've always heard it said, and there's a kernel (a very deep kernel) of truth to it, a similarity of intent (to make people laugh, surreal lyrics, etc.). But then if we go to analyze the music, the lyrics, the technique, and the "truth" of the music, the comparison falls apart. I lowered the score on the review (for the phrase that mentioned azzo, which I hadn’t given much weight to initially but instead...)

This is a masterpiece, but "Strade perdute" remains absolutely brilliant for me (I haven't seen the latest one). Poletti, go screw yourself, please.

M.Poletti, please don't call upon things bigger than you, like the music of John Coltrane. Bow down to that mediocre meringotti, but cut off your fingers if you have to write about jazz. If you do, thank you on behalf of me and all those who know a bit more about music and cinema than you do.

Unsustainable and unbearable, those who laugh WITH these laugh WITH Boldi et similia, are the poorly executed and watered-down copy of Zappa, he who really made (and makes) you laugh (even just with the music), that at a very high level.

A very intense and claustrophobic film just like Jake says.

Galakordi Urtis Krat, I agree with everything you've said, but loving a director, painter, musician, or anyone else doesn't necessarily mean accepting everything they do. "Fire Walk with Me" is unfortunately a failed film, not incomprehensible; in fact, here we are still at Lynch's more "descriptive" phase, but the "nightmares" here are quite tame.

the ugliest lynch film, it almost risked ruining that magnificent series (of which I have all the DVDs) that is "twin peaks." If we want to honor the great lynch, it's better that this film is not remembered... this time I quote the chicken.
