A nice film (the 3 is the score for "sentimental value," it would be 2)

"how many Mozarts have NEVER picked up a musical instrument" but what are you saying, to be a Mozart it’s not enough to just pick up an instrument, where do you put the passion???? Paolo is going deeper and deeper.

Of course, if there's a possibility of remasters that bring the sound back to better levels, I always choose the best quality, obviously. But in this case, from what I understand, it depends much more on the environment and the positioning of microphones and other factors; miracles can't be made. Among other things, if I'm not mistaken, it’s already a remastered edition, right?

I think the same as you do; the most important thing is the sound found in the record. I also have the Armstrong recordings (though Sony remastered, and they seem to be recorded very well too) or Louis Russell from the early '20s (from Classics) or Jelly Roll Morton (from Proper), which, considering the era, are well recorded. Anyway, you’ve convinced me—I’ll buy this one from Trane!

I agree with the Count, although I would add an "It's time" that I recently bought and find beautiful.

Unfortunately, I’m missing the CD, I’ll have to take care of that... I read that it’s not recorded very well, but is that something I can overlook? Let me explain, is the contained sound really stellar?

A film that didn't disappoint me overall, but I was very disappointed by Cash's sound, of which I only knew Zappa's cover of "Ring of Fire," definitely better than the original "I fell into a ring of fire (Ow! Ow! Ow!)".
