I understand when someone buys several CDs, the higher price matters; I buy quite a few too, although I don’t reach 15 a month, but I buy about half of that, even though I’m very much addicted to jazz :-D A curiosity, Conte, how many CDs do you have (just jazz)?

Beautiful, beyond the comments from "young critics are born that way," a tribute to noir that may not be very original but keeps you glued to your seat. My favorite of the Coen brothers remains "Barton Fink."

I agree that the price of ECM CDs is high, but in the end, compared to other secondary goods, they remain "low" prices. I often make the example of a beer at a pub; a half-pint costs 4/5 euros and lasts as long as it lasts, while a CD lasts a lifetime, and if it features great music... I support the Count with "The All Seeing Eye," one of Shorter's most beautiful albums, even if it's among his less famous ones. I would also include "Etcetera." The album cover photo is an enlargement of a picture of Wolf, which is beautiful in its entirety, perhaps even more so, but I understand that on the CD cover it becomes more representative that way.
