Supersoul, surely "All Quiet on the Western Front" is among the best war films of all time, I agree.

The themes of "We're Only In It For The Money" are authentic masterpieces, listened to hundreds of times and never felt a yawn!

No, you can say that you don’t like it, but "Hot Rats" will always remain a Zappa album, one of the many facets of Our man while always staying true to himself. If you say that you don’t hear the Zappa thought here, that’s your problem, because if you were to play the album for a newcomer who knows little about Zappa, they would immediately frame it as one of his albums and whose else’s otherwise?

Hymen, you are indefensible. "A Hot Rats product that could have been released under the name Jean Luc Ponty (very possible)" absolutely not. Zappa's compositional approach is unique in its kind; Ponty, in this regard, is fundamental for the sounds, the improvisational ideas, but those tracks come from the mind, the pen of Franchino, and it could not have been otherwise... Then if you don’t like it, that’s another story, but don’t find unfounded justifications.
