an unwatchable film due to an excess of self-indulgent sweetness, while I don't mind Nicholas Cage, and he also made one of the best films of the '90s: "Wild at Heart." For me, that's more than enough to not trash it.

Well, certainly "Thing Fish" is a less successful work; I still like it, but it's definitely not one of Zappa's peaks. Moreover, many tracks come from previous albums. I would have been curious to see the theatrical performance (as it was originally conceived) with the music, then perhaps we could discuss it again.
