I would have bet there was a review of "occhioni" on this! An album that I initially could only tolerate in pieces, but ended up captivating me quite a bit. Not a masterpiece, but it evokes fog and disquiet like few others.

The track with Xzibit is terrifying, and I've listened to it because he's on it; I wouldn't even listen to those others on their own in MIDI.

At the reception, five dry without thinking twice, they might be just what I need.

I had said that sooner or later I would start getting into U.S. shoegaze. I was lucky enough to start with a very tasty album that has a fitting review on Debasio.

Nice review. Instead, he attracts me like a speech by Ciriaco De Mita on a Sunday afternoon in August.

Am I mistaken or is metal the only music genre where the phrase "back to the '80s" is seen as something positive rather than just the random emergence of synths and embarrassing drums and vocoders? I thought I had heard those sounds once, then I realized that those were Dark Angel.

This film has been talked about by everyone to the point of nausea. Rivers of bullshit have been said. You come here on Debaser and find turbo duplicates, but all of them, if not shareable, at least make sense. Am I the only one who finds this strange?

I still haven't figured out how jazz and electronics can "keep you wide awake for an entire night watching a film that only exists in your head." But I also haven't understood what jazz really is. Great album and superb review.
