America has created the "young" and its culture, with the different languages of literature, images, and sounds.
The British Empire has consumed and rehashed (sometimes in memorable ways) its demands, tremors, and vibrations. But rock, with the exception of prog (the only true product of European origin), is essentially made in the U.S.A.
