the decline of PEARL JAM begins here. Then it will be advisable to turn only to the LIVE FINTOBOOTLEG (among all, I point out the stunning TRIPLE CD LIVE IN SEATTLE and the acoustic one). At the risk of sounding delusional, I repeat what many have already said: the first 4 albums are more than worthy. Personally, I lean towards VS. TEN and NO CODE.
Pink Floyd The Piper at the Gates of Dawn - 40th Anniversary Edition

In my opinion, the review deserves the highest rating. The album is a masterpiece, but these DELUX editions milk money from naive fans. Therefore, the score reflects the commercial operation.

In my opinion, the problem is "DON'T THROW THE BABY OUT WITH THE BATHWATER"... that is, let's save what can be saved and recognize everyone their merits, the dark periods, the innovative ones, and so on. About Italian music: the problem has always been the alleged intellectual superiority of the so-called SONGWRITERS, an opinion that prevailed throughout the 70s and 80s. Only in the 90s did Italian music become "youth music," produced with methods typical of rock culture (the BAND) and with clear references to models that could not be defined as "Italian." But those making music during those years were facing the intellectual ostracism of the so-called singer-songwriter music (which still weighs heavily today in many minds). I reiterate that the fortune of SALLY was the COVER by F. MANNOIA: a sanitized version for the intellectual-chic palates of the song. Otherwise, it wouldn't have even been considered by most, except by the FANS (and those are dangerous) of Vasco. That said, I want to reaffirm my earlier opinion: Vasco ended in the late 80s; since then, he has been living off his past and media events. But he has made some beautiful albums...he has also created very important songs for Italian music, or true classics, on par with the so-called "sacred monsters." He can still write some good songs today (see, SALLY, GLI ANGELI, or the magnificent lyrics written for PATTI PRAVO "E DIMMI CHE NON VUOI MORIRE"). It really annoys me to see people who have already given practically everything artistically (what do I know? De Gregori has been past his prime for a while, in my opinion. Guccini has worn out his welcome ages ago, etc.) considered untouchables while others, always viewed as second-rate (like GAETANO who has only recently been "rehabilitated"...in life, his albums sold much less than other second-rate artists...and he practically lived off SINGLES). @ISIDE: the thesis on ELVIS is very old...I've never loved him as an artist, but you'll find that we're more or less tired of so-called conspiracy theories. The first records of ELVIS are undisputed masterpieces of early rock. And even though it is undeniable that he helped make rock more "white" (and thus more listenable and marketable), he deserves some credit...After all, LED ZEPPELIN also thrived on the shoulders of WILLIE DIXON, and the STONES, ANIMALS, YARDBIRDS, etc., on those of MUDDY WATERS & co...

with PRIMIBALLI, until victory. "..and you could even eat strawberries" might be a piece of junk, but "IT'S ONLY ROCK&ROLL, BUT I LIKE IT" what's that?!? or HEY JOE WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING WITH THAT GUN IN YOUR HAND?!? I was at the PEARL JAM concert a few years ago at the Verona arena and I’ve been to a Vasco concert. For me "FOR WHAT I HAVE TO DO, (I’M DOING THE MILITARY)", or "COLPA D'ALFREDO" are muuuuch better than a couple of the latest PEARL JAM albums. But what can I do: I’m an old-timer, unable to understand. And so be it. P.S. some phenomena, you need to have seen them "at their peak" in their time to understand what their songs meant.

@ODRAEK: just to clarify that the albums (all drawn from two sessions, and thus summarizing what Miles was doing in concert) were published to honor the PRESTIGE contract and move on to COLUMBIA.

It has already been pointed out that MILES' PRESTIGE albums should be bought all TOGETHER. *** hats off to the album and to the reviewer (among the few who can talk about jazz).

Venditti has excessively mythologized school years. A denunciation.
