1) I didn't compare the Simpsons to Howard the Duck. I compared the feelings you were criticizing in others, which, by the way, are the same that tie you to the yellows.
2) Okay, the Simpsons are not dead. But they are not the same ones I loved in the past either. Therefore, to me, they are dead. You can keep loving them if you want. Just be careful. The more time goes on, the more their death will hurt you.
