To be honest, I don't even know if I've listened to all of Crises, but the idea is the same. You could also add an accordion solo or a moped, the essence doesn't change. It might be formally prettier, but it's still a recycled idea. And that guitar solo at the end of Tubular Bells is just awesome; the initial piano theme is one of the most spot-on riffs that exist.
