Indeed, you are right: The Griffins are the worst, too stupid. The Simpsons are legendary, but I prefer Futurama, which is quite genius, though not as much as South Park. South Park is not for adults because of the profanity, but for its genius, which sometimes even I don't fully grasp. The Simpsons achieved this only partially with Homer's character, but in South Park, it's all a fine critique.
